Morgan has been working in the field of addiction since 2014. She graduated from one of the top COAMFTE accredited programs in California, Alliant International University with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. Morgan’s previous experience was working at Phoenix House, a non-profit organization, which provides individualized evidence-based treatment to men and women who have co-occurring substance abuse and mental illness disorders that have experienced a substantial amount of trauma. Morgan is also continuing to study her passion at the Buehler Institute for a certification in sex therapy to pursue her interest in sexual health and well being motivated to work with individuals and couples dealing with gender identity issues, women’s issues, substance abuse and sexual health, as well as the LGBT community. At Luminance, Morgan strives to create a strength-based approach to therapy, utilizing many solution-focused and narrative techniques to create change for her clients. Morgan is passionate about creating a non-judgmental and safe environment to discuss tough topics related to the clients’ previous experiences and is skilled in instilling hope and identifying strengths in her clients to create a path of change in their lives.
